You’re searching for solutions to stay grounded and calm, and are finding that you can’t create this with just your thoughts.
The thought of eating causes you heightened anxiety. You find yourself restricting, binging, purging, and/or obsessing about exercising. You know it’s not good for you but it feels out of your control. You're searching for support in creating a healthy relationship with food and with your body so that you can feel ease around eating and comfortable in your skin.
You are craving intimacy, but find relationships challenging and painful to navigate. You're searching for peace within yourself, and solutions to feel safe and calm when in a relationship so that you can enjoy the connection and intimacy.
You are questioning or exploring your sexual orientation and/or gender identity. You’re bravely searching for what feels most natural to you, and others may have responded in ways that are painful. You are searching for how to navigate feeling free to be your authentic self.
I meet pre-teen and teen clients where they are at developmentally. In addition to the topics above, I help guide teens in recognizing their feelings, needs, values, and desires; giving them tools to help with self-soothing while increasing self-compassion, self-confidence, and interpersonal skills.
