Frequently Asked
Questions

What is your fee?

My fee is $250 for a 50 minute session. I do offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots, as I value therapy being financially accessible. At this time, all sliding scale spots are full. Longer sessions are available upon request and the extra time will be prorated appropriately.

Do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance. I can offer you a monthly superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement (dependent on the details of your insurance policy).

Do I need to commit to weekly sessions?

I typically recommend weekly sessions at the same time each week, as this allows for consistent and steady support for your growth and healing. If more support is needed, I can offer 2 sessions a week. I do offer bi-weekly sessions, but I ask that you commit to at least 8 weekly sessions before switching to bi-weekly, as the weekly sessions allow for the working relationship to form and therapeutic momentum to build in the healing work.

How do I know if you are the right fit therapist for me?

Finding a therapist who is the right fit for you is important in therapy. Rightness of fit includes feeling safe with me in the therapy, feeling that I understand your emotions and experiences most of the time, and that you are experiencing benefit from our work together. I welcome and encourage your feedback throughout our therapy. I will not take it personally if you decide that I am not the right fit for you, and will offer you referrals of trusted colleagues within my professional network. My highest intention is that you find the support that you are seeking, whether that is with me or another practitioner.

Holistic Psychotherapy

“As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of really is, that each of us has something that no one else has – or ever will have – something inside that is unique to all time. It’s our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression.”

– Fred Rogers
